Overview of the straight toe touch (toe to the floor traction):
The straight toe touch is a type of abdominal crunch and an exercise used to isolate the abdominal muscles.
The straight toe touch maintains constant tension on the lower abdominal muscles while you perform an upper abdominal muscle flexion.

1-Lie on your back in a relaxed position with your arms and legs straight.
2-Lift straight legs until they are perpendicular to the floor.
3-Exhale, reaching up to your toes.
4-When your abs are fully contracted and your upper back is off the floor, slowly lower to the starting position.

Tips for performing a straight toe touch (floor pull):
1-Exhale hard, as if you were blowing out the candles on a cake, and hold the contraction for a second to improve the connection between the muscles.
2-If your lower back is bothering you while doing this exercise, choose movements against extension and rotation.
3-Avoid putting your hands behind your head, as this can cause excessive strain on your neck.
